Well, I have tried just about EVERY method at one time or another. Here's my birth control history (short version):

- Combined OC's for a year and a half (made me depressed, skin problems)
- NFP for 3 months (got pregnant while taking the NFP class then was too embarrassed to go back to class)
- Breastfeeding for about 4 months (got pregnant while nursing)
- Cervical Cap for about a year and a half (was allergeic to spermicide)
- Condoms for about a year (was allergeic to latex)
- NFP again (got pregnant again)
- NFP plus polyurethane condoms (this worked pretty well)
- Settled on vasectomy after fourth child (got fed up with the whole thing)

What I've decided is that there aren't any really GREAT methods, but there are a lot of OK methods. I liked NFP but it never really worked all that well because my cylces were extremely irregular. You just have to find what works for you. :-)
