period two weeks late, have had cramps for a week though

Hi I was wondering, is this situation normal: I stopped taking Ortho tri cyclen last month. I want to get the shot instead. This month, I have not had a period yet and it's been almost 2 weeks since I was supposed to have it. I was pretty irregular before and I bled a lot before I went on OTC so I was wondering, is it normal to skip a whole period after quitting the pill, or to be two weeks late? I have been having cramps and that "bloated feeling" for a week now and still nothing is happening. I had protected sex with my partner and I even had him pull out for extra measure, even though he was wearing a condom.Sorry if this has already been answered before but I'm really scared!
