Hi, I too have PCOS and on Glucophage, like Carla. My endocrinologist has also prescribed Spironolactone with the glucophage to control symptoms. I was told that the glucophage controls the insulin levels, but does nothing toward the effects of the excess testosterone. Since I've been on Spironolactone, many great things have happened. My excess hair has stopped growing... and my acne has cleared considerably. I recommend it highly!!
