Congratulations!! Here are a few things that I did my first time (just recently) that helped a lot. My boyfriend took a shower first and then I did, just so I would feel uninhibited about anything. (and we'd been working all day) I'd thought about taking a shower with him, but we didn't do that because I didn't want to mimic HIS first time, which occurred in a shower. Anyway! I had the lights off in the room and about 6 candles lit. That made me less self-conscious but we could still see each other and each other's reactions, which is very important. :o) We took things very very slowly and he let me call the shots on what we did. So, a LOT of foreplay and oral sex was involved, which I think was important to enjoy ourselves and get me ready/relaxed. We took breaks, ate a picnic in bed, and cuddled/talked for some of the time, too. When we did try intercourse it was painful for me and things didn't work very well. We ended up sleeping on it and the next morning when we tried again things worked fine. :o) I suggest that YOU be on top so you can regulate how fast/how much of him you can take. Don't think that you have to take him in fully. Don't be upset if it is painful or if you do not have an orgasm or particularly enjoy it the first time or even the second time. It will be great...just spend about 48 hours in bed practicing! :o)
