I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for a year and ten months. At first it took about two to three months for my acne to get better and at first it seemed to get worse. You can't expect it to work right away, it takes time. The drawback I've been depressed since I started taking this pill and I just realized it this past week while I was talking to a friend. She told me that apparently, depression is more likely to occur on this pill than others because the hormone level is more elevated.
