A fathers group helps dads with autistic children find support and more:

"Raising a child with Asperger’s syndrome is a challenge above and beyond traditional parenting, especially for fathers, who until recently have been a minority among caretakers who attend meetings and support groups.

The ASPEN Father’s Group offers a place where they can come together and discuss their problems and triumphs.

Founded four years ago by learning disabilities specialist Vincent Varrassi, the group provides a forum for fathers to help each other. While getting the group started and getting new members to attend can be difficult, fathers stay once they become involved, Varrassi said."
