>>Hi..I'm new here. My name is Erica and I've been diagnosed with this about 4 months ago. Until now, no one knew what was wrong with me. I'd been treated for depression, panic attacks, etc. for about 3 years, and finally I went to a psychiatrist and he diagnosed me. I feel this way often...out of it..like i'm kinda floating, focussing on all the bad stuff, it's hard to get back to earth, so to speak. You have to find something "real" that you luv and try to DO IT, not just THINK IT. We THINK too much. Do something nice for yourself that you enjoy and you'll feel much more like yourself again

Me too dude...it's weird. Mainly, when I feel down, alone...I tend to feel more depersonalized. I tend to dwell on the negative, adn somehow become focused on the "unreality". I think a big part of it is your attitude, how your day is, etc. If I'm havin ga good day I tend to not dwell on this as much, and at the end of the day I can say "Hey, not once did I think about any depersonalization". Something like that...if you'd like to talk, feel free to email me, God Bless

>>Matt
