Why do i become irreatated and annoyed at peculiar things such as doors/windows being left open

It could be you have a small mood disorder if you are easily irritated. If the annoyance is caused because leaving doors or windows open causes things to feel disorderly you may have some obsessive compulsive personality traits (not to be confused with obsessive compulsive disorder, as the two often are used interchangeably but are in reality quite different). If the irritation just started recently it could be because of stressors in your life or even by depression.

Are there a lot of other little things that irritate you like this? Does it majorly affect your life and interactions with family and friends? Only you know how much this issue affects your life and the life of those around you. If this is truly a problem in your life and stretches beyond doors and windows you could try going to a psychologist who could discuss the problem with you and come to a solution.

All the best,
