Can Psychiatrists resolve my spiritual problem too?

Submitted by popdolls1818 Thu 04/15/2010

I am in trouble now with another spirit that is living within my brain. He says he is holy spirit. He block and squeeze my brian so I can not normally study and work. Also He makes a plan to ruin my life in Canada although I became a citizen through legimate immigration.

A psychiatrist is not someone you would go to for a spiritual problem. However if what you are experiencing is a mental disorder rather than a spiritual problem, a psychiatrist could help greatly. What you are experiencing sounds like it could be a a thought disorder, so I would definitely recommend seeing a psychiatrist immediately for an evaluation.

Maybe you will be diagnosed with something you are not even aware of, which will help you to understand your problems. If not, even though mental health providers are not providers of spiritual resources, they can also provide talk therapy, which can be very beneficial for resolving stress in ones life. Perhaps if you have a more severe problem medication might be in order. Either way, I recommend consulting with a mental health provider immediately.

Best of luck,
Dr. Williams
