I would like to know what everyone thinks about using masturbation as a means to relieve oneself from sexual tension. Isn't that also wrong- seeing that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Does anyone know of any references in scripture that would say masturbation is wrong.
I've been told that it is wrong- don't you feel guilty after doing that. I'm definitely not condemning anyone. I just want to know how I can overcome.
I'm twenty-four and I am still a virgin. I don't have a boyfriend, but I am getting to the point were I have really strong urges.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I am twenty years of age, and still a virgin. I don't beileve in waiting until marriage to a sex. But I do beileve in waiting for what I feel is a commited realtionship with trust and respect. I masterbate to keep myself from engaging in intercourse with every guy at my school. I have more respect for myself then to go around sleeping with every tom, dick and harry on my college campus. I was just curious to hear other peoples reactions to this and whether or not they feel the same.
