i say this - we must, if we are to be found truly Christ-like, put away childish things. i used to judge myself on the topic, and i've researched it. i have come to this conclusion. when we spend too much time watching t.v., or on the computer, or anything else, we become idolators, i believe. i also believe that we were intended to be balanced, whole people, capable of conducting ourselves in a just, good manner. if our own hearts condemn us, and we have to hide the fact that we do masterbate, there is something wrong. it's august 2nd. i abused myself this morning. am i a bad guy? no. do i make mistakes? yes. i was saved, am saved, and will be saved. but i cannot think that i will see Kingdom power in my life until i have done all i know to do first, including, but not, limited to, masterbation. i also struggle over the issue of creative writing and poetry. many of the written works today, i believe, tend to lead people away from Christ. but that's just how i feel. if i'm wrong, i'm wrong, but i will no longer be ashamed of anything anymore.
