I'm sorry that you feel that way. I am very disappointed in anyone who claims to be a Christian and does not read their Bible or follow the teachings of Christ. After all, wearing the name "Christian" is putting on the name of your leader, i.e., Luther - Lutheran, etc.
My leader (Christ) tells me in my Bible that sexual relations in any form outside of marriage is wrong. Sex inside the boundaries of marriage is wonderful! It is total, it is free, is abandonment at it's best. And most of all, and this is the best part...it is guilt-free! That is how God intended it and that is the only way.
If you'd read your Bible more often, you'd know these things. Why do you think that God allowed a book like Song of Solomon to be allowed in the holy scriptures? It is for our benefit. It is to make us all realize that God does not regard sex as filthy or dirty or "not to be done."
The Christians that I have known in my life teach their children that sex outside of marriage is wrong. Not because the parent believes that sex is wrong or dirty, but that the giving of one's self should be reserved for a spouse. Now, that does not, in any way, compare to eating, my friend. We all know that we cannot go without eating. It is a case of preservation. Sex is not. It is true, that many overeat. Especially in our country, but that is only because we have too much at our disposal.
It all boils down to this: We all need to learn better self-control. Anything that is done to ourselves that destroys our self worth is damaging to, not only ourselves, but to our relationship with God. If overeating is coming between you and God, then learn to control it. If sex, or drugs, or drinking, or pornography is making you feel at all guilty, it will destroy your relationship with God.
For me.....there is no freedom like the freedom of a guilt-free life!
