>>>Pip Lee wrote >>>GREAT DOUBT: This web page implies that, masturbation is not a sin, as it doesn't hurt either God or others or oneself. But I have great reservation about this claim. I mean there's something more to say about the definition of sin.

******inkaboutit reply *************The Bible does not prohibit a person from masturbating himself or herself alone.

In the strict Old Testament law masturbation, and ''wet dream'' and sex with spouse (all these would also have included sexual lust and sexual fantasies as well) was all included when it talked about ''ejaculation at night time'' and they got semen on their clothes and on their body. They were to go and wash their clothes and wash themselves.

Masturbation was not a sin and did not require any sin offering of any kind, just wash up.

A women when she had her period also had to wash up. So if you think that masturbation is a sin, then you would have to say that a women on her period was a much greater sin. No one I know would ever think of a women on her period was a sinning because of it.

Masturbation is a gift from God for us to enjoy.

Matt 5:28-30 are greatly misunderstood and taken out of context.

Major research on masturbation, the Bible, Christianity, sexuality, to clearly show that masturbation is a wonderful gift from God for us to enjoy. God designed every detail for us to enjoy. http://christianmasturbation.homestead.com/index.html
Letter To Anti-masturbation teachers. I can clearly show you that with your anti-masturbation teaching that you are harming and hurting God, others, and yourself. http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/masturbationlettertoanti.html
Major contradiction-- verse used by anti-nudist people. Matt. 5:28 is totally misunderstood and taken out of context. "look at a women with lust...adultery" http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/Lustmt528.html

Christian are judged by the law of love.

Jas 2:12 - So whenever you speak, or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law of love, the law that set you free.

Tit 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure

1Co 10:23 All things are lawful for me

Romans 14:14 I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

2Co 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Acts 10:13 Then a voice said to Peter, "Get up, Peter; kill and eat." 14 But Peter said, "No, Lord! I have never eaten food that is unholy or unclean." 15 But the voice said to him again, "God has made these things clean so don't call them 'unholy'!" 16 This happened three times

Ga 5:14 - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Ro 13:9 - For the commandments against adultery and murder and stealing and coveting and any other commandment are all summed up in this one commandment: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Ro 13:10 - Love does no wrong to anyone, so love satisfies all of God's requirements.

>>>Pip Lee wrote >>> Firstly, the nature of sin is one that will block our way to God, weakening the bonding between men and God.

******inkaboutit reply ************God designed sex and said it was very good. Masturbation is part of that design and does not, '' block our way to God'' in any way.

>>>Pip Lee wrote >>> So if masturbating has caused one to be shameful and unable to stand upright in front of God, one'd better not do it. >>> There are real cases in which Christians become resistant to pray to God after masturbation due to the shame inside. They stay away from God, and that can be really dangerous cos it will give rise to other sins controlled by Satan. So I'd like suggest that, if one can really do it shamelessly in front of God, it's nothing wrong; but if not, one'd better drop it.

******inkaboutit reply ************Shame is man made and man taught. You are taught from early age to be ashame of sex and nudity. Adam and Eve were naked and had no shame. Then sin confused their mind then they call naked or the nude body a shame when it was not and is not. Naked is not a shame in God's eye only in confused sinner's man's eyes. God make us nude and saw no shame in it at all. You call what God designed and make,-- shameful, when God said it was very good.

Tit 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure

>>>Pip Lee wrote >>>I believe masturbation does have no physical harm to us, but does it affect our soul?

******inkaboutit reply ************No it does not. God gave us a wonderful gift of sex so we could praise God for the enjoyment we have from sexual pleasure. But you chose to praise satan instead. Sin has confused your mind just like it did Adam and Eve's mind, where they called nudity a sin and God said it was very good.

>>>Pip Lee wrote >>>Do our minds relate inevitably to devil thoughts during masturbation? If so, then it just resembles the sin of reading porno materials, which badly ruins our soul with constant dirty thoughts

******inkaboutit reply ************Sex is not the devil thoughts or dirty thoughts. God designed it and said it was very good.

>>>Pip Lee wrote >>>Honestly these are all my doubts regarding to masturbation, I hope someone would disscuss it with me. But one thing we must keep in mind is that, when we Christians take our stand on something, make sure that it is out of God's will, but not ours. Otherwise, we'll simply become the puppets of Satan.

******inkaboutit reply ************No where does it say in the Bible that masturbation is a sin. You are the one who is calling it a sin when God does not. You are the one falling into satan trap. God said sex was very good and you call it dirty and from the devil. God designed lusty, sexy sex not the devil. You have fakken for the Gnostic Heresy of old that said the body and matter is all evil. God designed it all and said it was very good.
