I would like to clarify your understanding of the purpose of sex. It has a dual purpose. Primarily, it unites the married couple and is a physical expression of their one flesh relationship. Sex is also for the procreation of children. Immense joy and pleasure are derived from understanding our sexuality in light of these complementary purposes--be careful not to elevate the child bearing part of sex over the unitive aspects of it, or you minimize the importance of the relationship of the husband and wife to each other.

>>I have been taught that you shouldn't use birth control. My first thoughts on hearing this was "Yeah right, what if my husband and i want to have sex but not have a kid?" Well then i got a little lesson in what the meaning of sex is. it isn't strickly for pleasure, sure it's an added bonus, but it's for creating little babies, and that's why Christ made sex. And that's why he made it soo good, it's meant for something so good and beautiful, creation. God gave us the power to create little babies and that is the sole puropose of sex, not for pleasure, for that is me or whoever being selfish. I may be only 18 but i am choosing to remain a virgin until i am married.
