>>>>>>Hiya, my consultant has just recommended that I start taking deprovera after feb. when I finish my 6 months of zoladex+hrt - well I don't trust him as the treatment with zoldex was a nightmare - it stopped the bleeding, eventually, after swopping hrt's twice but all the problems that you can't see were still there (mood swings, irritability, hot flushes, increadable tiredness, fatigue and depression) to these symptoms he wasn't as concerned, the bleeding had stopped, my hair had stopped falling out - I should be grateful - shouldn't I? I was classed as a hysterical cow, and a disruptive patient - now what could possibly make me this kind of person I wonder, well the lack of scientific research into this massive problem could be one reason, as I was told there is no actual test anyone can have that would determine if you have a hormonal imbalance! (maybe this is because 99% of the final decision makers who determine if this would be a worthwhile venture are men!). After reading all the negative & occasionally positive stuff about deprovera - I'm back to square one as to what to take for the best results. Does anyone out there really suffer from the effects of pms and has been on a course of zoladex with a hrt suppliment? Did it work for you? What has happened since you came off it?
