>>Is it possible to have a period and still be pregnant. I haven't taken a test yet. We've been trying for several months. I've been able to pinpoint my ovulation. I'm 22 yrs. old and my doctor said we should have no problems getting pregnant. I had several symptoms and was sure that I was pregnant. Then my period came. It wasn't as heavy as usual and I still have the symptoms.

Yes, it is possible to have what "looks" like a period and still be pregnant. Some woman experience what is called "Implantation" or "Breakthrough Bleeding". This is when the cells are burrowing in to the uterus lining. It usually lasts less than three days. And is more of a dark brown color then red.
