Depo Vs. Pill ON weight gain issue

I was on the pill and had no wieght gain and now I have switched to depo(and loving it!!). From all the stuff that I read it seems like I'm gonna gain some weight which I don't really want. Which one is more likely to gain weight on... the pill or depo or is it the same?
