My friend took me for the procedure and they recommended that I have a Depo shot
right after the procedure. i felt this would be my best plan considering I won't be wanting to s
want to be starting a family for maybe a few years. To make a long story short,
I have just turned 31 I have been on Depo since November. I got my first shot on
the day of my abortion and had almost no bleeding and have not bled since.

My most major problem is that I have gain in excess of 15 pounds, I feel the
need to express that I am only 4ft-11 and I have always been teased about being underweight. Now
I have all kinds of people coming up to me and asking me what happened to you.

I am hurt and I feel that despite the obvious short comings I felt I was being
responsible. Why, do I have to pay?

I too have no sex drive as many women I have read about on this site. So what is
the point of taking birth control if you feel fat, undesirable, and have no sex
drive?
I am due for my next shot on July 19th which I will not get, but condoms do not
work for us as I have a skin allergy. So what do I do? Can I take the pill
right away? Thank you for any assistance you can give. (TRACY)
