I was put on Diane 35 to clear up my face. It works great as a birth control as well as for acne, but I did not like the side effects. I went from 125lbs to 150lbs within 4 months, I was always in a bad mood, lost all desire for sex and got several bladder infectons. I stopped taking birth control alltogether and now just chart my temperature. My face has stayed fairly clear, I think Tricyclen made me break out in the first place, and the weight is slowly coming off. If you can take Diane 35 without all the side effects you are lucky. I guess everyone reacts different.
