>>I was on ortho for nearly a year and never got a regular period. It would last for 2 weeks or come 1 week or more earlier than it should have. Since I had lost over 100 lbs., to fit into an extremely small wedding gown, I figured, it just was too strong for my body to handle with all the metabolic changes I was experiencing. After I was married June 16, 2001, I went to my gyn and he put me on Estrostep. I started mid-July, only a little over a month ago and to date I have gained 20 lbs. At first, my breasts were tender and growing a little, and I was happy to just become a full b cup, since at my top weight I was a DD and low weight an A. I'm now really nervous, since i do have a weight retention problem, that I'll just become a blimp again with no hope, I'm not getting any younger ang the stress and struggle has left me depressed and really edgy.

I am currently on Estrostep Fe and have been on this pill for the last 4 months. This pill has unfortuneately made me break out horribly, but I have noticed that the acne has been getting better after the first 3 months of use. Regardless of this, my doctor has put me on ortho tri cyclen (starting next month) to help control my acne. I was wondering if my acne will start to flare up again once I switch to ortho tri cyclen due to my body's reaction to the different testosterone and estrogen doses. Is it normal for mild side effects to erupt when switching between pills or is the body able to make a smooth transition? If it is likely that I will break out again for the first 3 months that I am on ortho tri cyclen I would much rather stay on Estrostep Fe (since the last time I was on Estrostep Fe my acne went away completely after 9 months).

>>If anyone can help me I would appreciate it greatly!
