>>  >>  >>I also have had horrible side effects from Depo. I almost lost my marriage because of it. My mood swings were severe, my libido husband thought I was having an affair because I changed so much. We researched and found information linking Depo to chemical castration for sex offenders. We have been trying for a child, with no luck might I add, for 4 years. I have been through and continue to go through fertility treatments to correct what was done to my body.

I have experienced many of the same side effects as the others spoke of. I took depo once in 97. I had one huge 3+ mo period while on depo. I experienced severe (to me) depression while on depo. My doctor told me I should use depo because it was "better" than the pill. Since then I took the pill until Nov 1999. When I went off and my husband and I began trying for a baby. It has been well over a year and we are unable to conceive. We think this is because of depo. I would be interested in any info available about Depo and lawsuits. Please E-mail me at [email protected]

>>  I have taken the depo as well, I had a FULL hysterectomy due that SHOT! My life has done a complete change since my daughter was born in 94. I would not recommend that shot to anyone even my worst enemy. It has given me nothing but problems and Please i would hate to see anyone go through what I have!! Sincerely, Tonya
