Hello, I only took the Depo shot one time, that is all it took. I bled for three months straight (spotting daily). I got real sick of tampons and pads. I also had the zero sex drive side affect. Who needs birth control then!! I gained 10 lbs. in that three months. My periods were always normal before that and now They still are not 1.5 years later. I also immedialty begain develoving abdomial pains. I have been diagonosed with endometrosis now. They think depo helps this, but it seemed to start it for me. I do not think this medication should be on market. There are too many side affect not even listed. I seems to me not enough long term resurch was done on this medication.
