I have always had some allergies, including nasal (hay fever) and skin (from touching evergreen plants, hay or straw, etc.). My second gynecologist gave me a list of items to use and avoid that affect many people who are "sensitive" and it has helped me. Among the suggestions were some of the previous posting's such as avoiding dyes and perfumes in anything that will come in contact with your sensitive areas--tampons, napkins, underwear, soap. She told me no "feminine sprays" or special washes, stick to Dial bath soap, a detergent such as Ivory Snow, etc. I think it has helped me avoid some of the irritations I was experiencing before that.
