University of Washington Researchers Pull Off Dazzling Brain Experiment

It is a stirring human achievement--human brain to brain interface via the internet--and an incredibly dull video.

In what is believed to be the first of its kind, University of Washington researchers carried out a 'noninvasive human-to-human brain interface' that allowed one of the researcher to send a brain signal over the Internet in order to control the hand motions of another researcher on the other side of the campus.

In other words, one researcher thought, 'move your right index finger and hit the space bar', and that thought was transmitted via Skype to the other researcher, whose right index finger did just that, comparing the involuntary movement of his finger to that of a nervous tic.
