Cindy, I work in healthcare too. Surgery. It is an awful place to be with OCD. Ignorance is bliss, you are right there! My OCD is often centered around illness. Specifically HIV or Hepatitis. Every symptom I have in my every day life from a hangnail to a headache "must be it" It can be very disturbing. I am currently taking effexor, as well as going to counseling twice a week. The most difficult part of working in healthcare is that it's my job that gives me panic attatcks, and my job that supports my life financialy...can't win!
