When people are anxious about performing in front of others it is often caused by social phobia or social anxiety disorder (SAD). Social phobia can cause people to fear almost every social situation, or it can manifest in just a few specific areas, including feeling uncomfortable when being watched. People with social phobia are afraid of being judged, worry that people will criticize them, or that they will seem stupid. If this is what is causing your behavior then I would not call it procrastination. Procrastination can be caused by perfectionism, laziness or depression. You can determine what seems the best fit for you and your situation.

Best of luck,
