When people are in love it is very common to be “obsessed” with each other. It is this mutual obsession that causes people to fall in love, get married, have children and propagate the species. However when one person is in love and the other is not, the result is sadness, distress and all the accompanying pangs of unrequited love. This condition has been written about since the times of the ancients and is the topic in many plays, movies, songs, novels, etc. since the days of cave people. There is no quick fix to make these feelings go away. But it is best to leave the other person alone and stop pursuing them. You should find other things to distract yourself and eventually the feelings will fade.

Best of luck,
