I've wondered for years if im gay. It seems that's what people end up thinking about me I have had many sexual relationships with women and have no tendencies of being gay , or at least I dont want to be I just want to know if I obsessed over it hocd?

Sometimes if people have

Sometimes if people have characteristics that seem "gay" (men with a high voice, women with short hair cuts, men who are dancers, etc.) then people will make the assumption that person is gay. However stereotypes are only guidelines and rather poor ones at that. So even if you have some of these "gay" characteristics, it does not mean that you are gay. The characteristics do not make you gay. What makes you gay is the desire for sexual intimacy with someone of the same sex sex. You have said that is not you, therefore you are not gay.

Whether or not you have “HOCD” – sexual orientation obsessions in OCD – depends on how much time you spend worrying about this and what behaviors you use to cope with the worries. If it is less than an hour a day you would not be diagnosed with OCD.

Best of luck,
