Hi, I am sorry to hear that

Hi, I am sorry to hear that your family is having this difficulty. Your brother is fortunate to have your support. His wife also needs support at this time because these problems are emotionally painful for the entire family. Your brother may possibly have paranoid personality disorder. Occasionally, these types of symptoms stem from a substance abuse disorder, a psychotic disorder or another disorder as well. Rarely, it is just a response to a lot of stress and not a sign of mental disorder. Whatever the cause, he would benefit from a psychological evaluation. If he is resistant, it may be helpful to encourage him to talk to a professional about his fears so that he will feel better. Best wishes to you!
