About the Mental Health Chat Room

The purpose of this chat room is to give persons interested or affected by obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and related spectrum disorders the opportunity to participate in a forum where we can learn and gain support and insight from others. Please note that we want to provide a safe place for everyone. Please be sensitive and respectful to others online.

The exact topics of discussion are fairly flexible, depending on the interests of the participants. Issues may include symptoms of mental disorders, treatments for mental illness, psychiatric medication, psychotherapy, family issues, related disorders, or anything else related to spectrum disorders or anxiety disorders. For now, the remaining times are available for people who would like to organize chats at other hours. As long as people are using this chat room responsibly it will be available for this use.
