>>I have been taking ortho tri-cyclen for about two weeks now, and since i've been taking it, my face has broken out worse than ever before. I know that ortho tri-cyclen is supposed to clear up moderate acne, so hopefully this is only temporary. Has this happened to anyone else?

I took Ortho Tri-cyclen for three years, and was recently taken off of it. Before this particular pill I had moderate acne.
However, during the three years while on this pill I had the most horrible acne, especially before and during my period.
I spoke with my GYN about the claims that the manufacturer of this pill and how I personally feel that they are false.
He indicated that the manufacturer conducted a study where they found *some* women experienced clearer skin while on this
pill. Because of these results, the manufacturer can publicize these claims. My doctor also indicated that he has found
for all the women he has prescribed this pill to, approximately 60-75% experience worse acne breakouts. If you are not happy
with Ortho Tri-cyclen switch to another pill, but you must realize that these pills are synthetic hormones and will add to
the normal symptoms you experience during your period such as weight gain, bloating, migraines and especially acne. You need
to find the right pill for you. And I recommend Proactive to control your acne. Check out this website:
