How can i tell the diffrence from hocd and being bisexual or a gay in denial?

HOCD is a term used to

HOCD is a term used to sometimes describe people who have sexual orientation worries within OCD (homosexual OCD). This is quite different than being gay because people who have sexual sexual orientation worries in OCD worry about “what if...” they are gay, become gay, or others think they are gay. People who are actually homosexual know they are attracted to people of the same sex. With OCD the worry is all about “what if I am attracted to people of the same sex.” Probably the fact that you are asking this question means that your worry stems from OCD. If you were gay you would know it; you might worry about other people finding out or you might wish you could change, but you would know you preferred the same sex to the opposite sex.

Best of luck,
