I was on the shot for 5 yrs, have been off now for 7 months trying to get pregnant. I know many people that have been on depo at one point or another (at least 15), and all of them had problems getting pregnant, at least a year after getting off. I have never heard of anyone getting pregnant on depo, and my obgyn said that the depo shot is 99.999% effective if taken as perscribed. Hope that helps.
