Menstruation after the pill

I recently went off the pill (one month) and this week I was to have my period, but I did not get it. It was always right on time while I was on the pill, and now I am 3 days late. I had symptoms of bloating (more then normal) terrible headaches, and a pain on the left side of my abdomen. Could this just be the side effects from going off the pill or would it be more likely that I could be pregnant?
