The Lord never changes! He is steadfast and unmovable! Just because society changes does not mean that we as Christians can change what the Bible says. There are several gray areas in the Bible, but sex outside of marriage is not one of them. It is clearly stated in the old and new testamnet that sex outside of marriage is a sin. It helps me to think as if The Lord is standing right next to me with whatever I do. (to which he is) Would you do something with Him standing next to you, if He told you not to? Is having sex with a man that is not your husband uplifting to God's will, honor and holiness? Marriage and family is a picture for us of what our relationship should be like with the Lord. Does the Lord have an intimate walk with the unsaved? NO!! But he does have an intimate walk with His children (saved). This is the same light on us. The husband is portraying the Lord and the wife is portraying the church.
A wise man once told me that if you have a belief, you need to back it up with two scripture references. Like, if you are thinking it is ok to have sex with your boyfriend, you need to find where that is stated two times in the Bible that it is OK.
